The Maintenance Technician performs skilled maintenance, construction, and repair work related to the inside and outside maintenance and care of facilities, conducts routine inspections of premises and equipment, performs preventive maintenance, and handles basic repairs and maintenance.Building Maintenance <ul><li>Makes basic electrical repairs and takes volt and amp readings. Assists in replacing motors, lighting ballast and bulbs, electric switches, and receptacles. Checks and replaces fuses and circuit breakers. Performs minor electric wiring installation and repair. Diagnoses and replaces emergency exit and emergency lighting fixtures. Diagnoses, repairs, and replaces electric hand dryers and photoelectric controls.
