Description Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Property Reutilization Technician to work in our Property Reutilization department. Our team works a 4x10 schedule located out of our Central Facilities west of Idaho Falls with every Friday off. All work will be performed onsite. You will receive, review, process, and approve requests to excess/surplus Government Personal Property (GPP). You will report directly to the manager of the Property Reutilization department. Responsibilities Include: <ul><li>Evaluate excess GPP for all associated hazards to include environmental, security, export compliance, etc.</li><li>Interpret and apply applicable guidance (Code of Federal Regulations, GSA, and DOE bulletins, USML, CCL, Dual Use List, Trigger List, etc.) for processing excess GPP and apply them correctly for all GPP transitioning.</li><li>Perform a variety of property disposal and control activities such as the destruction, demilitarization, or abandonment of GPP.</li><li>Identify property items eligible for sale and develop initial input of items being sold.</li><li>Report excess GPP to GSA.</li><li>Coordinate screening and removal of GPP for transfer/donation to other federal or state agencies, or to other eligible recipients and to the public for surplus GPP sold.</li><li>Verify all documentation and records related to redistribution or disposal of GPP and create associated packages for retention.</li><li>Coordinate and communicate with other staff, DOE, and others to facilitate the sell/transfer of GPP.</li><li>Process all sales packages of surplus GPP to completion (create, post, run, physically and administratively transfer awarded property, and ensure sale is recorded and documented correctly).</li><li>Ensure sales/referrals follow good merchandizing practices and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Create, process, and document all disposal or demilitarization in strict accordance with property procedures.</li><li>Verify selected GPP recipient or purchaser meets government regulations to receive excessed property.</li><li>Use appropriate manual and mechanical material handling tools (hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) to receive and store property until disposition.</li><li>Perform routine packaging of various items. Prepare shipping documentation and labeling.</li><li>Create and update all GPP records promptly.</li></ul>Qualifications Minimum Requirements:&nbsp; <ul><li>Level 3: High school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of relevant experience.</li><li>Level 4: High school diploma or equivalent and 6 years of relevant experience.</li><li>Experience receiving and evaluating property with large-scale government or commercial warehouse.</li><li>Forklift training qualifications.</li><li>Maintain a current State of Idaho driver’s license.</li></ul> Job Information:&nbsp; <ul><li>The pay range for this position is: Level 3 ($25.18/hr - $41.54/hr) / Level 4 ($29.46/hr - $48.61/hr). Property Reutilization Technician

Description Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Quality Inspection Technician to work in our Construction Quality department. Our team works a 4x10 schedule located out of our ATR facility with every Friday off. You will perform technical quality control (QC) tasks to support the mission of the facility in which one is working (including materials, fabricated items, components, equipment, parts) Use technical skills to conduct in-service tests and surveillance activities, to ensure compliance to customer, engineering, quality standards, and regulatory requirements for the given item being evaluated. You will report to the manager of Construction Quality. Responsibilities Include: <ul><li>Provide technical support to quality engineering on various experiments, operate a variety of inspection equipment.</li><li>Provide independent quality assurance inspection and surveillance functions in compliance with policies, procedures, customer requirements, or work control plans at INL and subcontractor facilities.</li><li>Ensure items are within calibration and suitability for use of the measurement equipment being used.</li><li>Provide support in various administrative functions such as non-conformance reporting, tracking, trending, assessments, and records management.</li><li>Review materials and equipment received or fabricated against purchase/design specifications to ensure acceptability.</li></ul>Qualifications Minimum Requirements:&nbsp; <ul><li>Level 4: High School or equivalent and 6 years related experience.</li><li>Level 5: High school or equivalent and &gt;6 years related experience.</li><li>Knowledge and skills in one or more of the following building code disciplines: Plumbing, HVAC, Civil Inspection including earthwork, concrete, and asphalt; AWS Structural; and ASME Mechanical.</li><li>Knowledge and skills in Nondestructive Examination (NDE) techniques such as Visual Inspection, Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, etc.</li><li>Objective evidence of previous NDE qualification/certification including NDE certification, Training Diplomas, Experience Logs and Education (HS, University etc.) meeting SNT-TC-1A is required.</li><li>Must be capable of using NDE techniques to solve complex inspection problems.</li><li>Must display a working knowledge of inspection codes and standards.</li><li>This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.&nbsp;</li></ul> Preferred Experience:&nbsp; <ul><li>Plumbing Inspection Experience.</li><li>HVAC Inspection Experience.</li><li>NDE inspection experience on commercial construction sites.</li><li>Civil Inspection experience in earthwork, concrete and asphalt.</li><li>AWS CWI certification.</li><li>ASME Owners Inspector Experience.</li></ul> Job Information:&nbsp; <ul><li>The pay range for this position is: Level 4 min $29.46 - max $48.61 / Level 5 min $34.47 - max $56.87.
