Assists in the clinic by taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination and drawing blood.&nbsp; Clinical Duties&nbsp;(may include, but are not limited to):<ul><li>Obtains vital signs from patients</li><li>Obtains blood samples from patients</li><li>Prepares blood and urine specimens for testing.</li><li>Packages and labels lab samples to send to outside labs</li><li>Inputs lab tests and results into EMR systems</li><li>Cleans instruments and sends out controls for testing</li><li>Follows standard precautions when dealing with lab samples</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><dt><h4>Minimum Qualifications</h4></dt>Vocational/Technical degree in medical assisting from an accredited college OR High school diploma or GED AND One year of related experience.<dt><h4>Additional Information</h4></dt>To be considered for employment at District 2 Public Health you must complete an online application.
