Job Summary&nbsp; The high-profile position will apply Lean Manufacturing and other continuous improvement initiatives to manage the physical infrastructure of the plant and its equipment. This includes the design, installation, operation, maintenance, modification, construction, safety, and protection of the physical facilities and equipment used to manufacture technologically sophisticated products. Utilizes 8 pillars of TPM.</li><li>Minimize unplanned equipment downtime and maximize equipment reliability by employing TPM and other Lean initiatives.</li><li>Ensure Facilities Engineering metrics are well-known, and track progress toward achieving department objectives.</li><li>Establish project goals and lead the group effort toward successfully completing those projects.</li><li>Manage the maintenance and repair budget.</li><li>Contribute to cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives for safety, on-time delivery, production efficiency, and scrap reduction.</li><li>Develop the capabilities of those in the department through teaching, coaching, establishing high standards, and ensuring accountability.</li><li>Exhibit and promote an attitude on the plant floor that leads to an engaged and energized workforce.</li><li>Advise, assist and review all matters involving capital and major expenses. Review and edit all requests for assets (RFA) and author those pertaining to the facility.</li><li>ASAT management – audits and improvements.&nbsp;</li><li>Represent Howmet at community planning boards.</li><li>Daily help manage parts and expedite parts as necessary.</li><li>Troubleshoot equipment – sense of urgency.</li><li>Daily review of PM’s equipment down with team.</li></ul> Basic Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.&nbsp;</li><li>5 years related maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant. &nbsp;</li><li>3 years management experience in a manufacturing plant.</li><li>This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
