The Tutor/Mentor will provide mentoring support and tutoring services in the areas of reading, writing, math, natural sciences, and other areas based upon TRIO students' needs. The Tutor/Mentor positions are temporary part-time. Tutoring and Mentoring sessions may be held individually or in groups. Tutors/Mentors will work closely with the TRIO Program Coordinator to outline and follow up on student needs.
Job Duties:
Maintain accurate records of tutoring activities including timesheets. Review course assignments, homework, tests and quizzes. Provide monthly reports on students' progress.
