Job Title: Software Developer
Location: Remote (position requires 100% telecommuting; employee’s work location can be anywhere in the United States)
Job Description: Revolutionize the utility industry's customer experience by supporting software development team in all aspects of the development, testing, and implementation of products. Write and debug code. Troubleshooting software issues. Improve product’s functionality in collaboration with developers and by developing innovative solutions. Participate in code reviews and quality assurance activities, estimation discussions with the product team, and attend developer meetings. Perform mapping by taking the EDI data or flat file data and transforming the data to the utility or billing system for deregulated energy clients. Perform performance tuning for EDI within retail energy. Use Kibana and RabbitMQ to map data. Position requires 100% telecommuting; employee’s work location can be anywhere in the United States.
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in CS, CIS, or related
Experience Requirement: Two (2) years of experience as a Software Developer, Full Stack Developer, Database Administrator, or related
Special Skills: Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Perform mapping by taking the EDI data or flat file data and transforming the data to the utility or billing system for deregulated energy clients; 2) Perform performance tuning for EDI within retail energy; and 3) Use Kibana and RabbitMQ to map data.
