Required License/Registration/Certification
Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician by either PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT); Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.
Physical Requirements
This position requires use of a computer workstation, completion of tasks with repetitive motions, and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds. This position may require personnel to wear personal protective equipment to reduce risk of exposure to work-related hazards (e.g. handling of hazardous medications).

Job Summary
The Pharmacy Senior Technician assists pharmacists in providing medications to patients in the perioperative hospital setting by compounding complex sterile and non-sterile products, participating in the delivery of comprehensive pharmaceutical care, and distributing medications from the OR pharmacy satellite. Areas of service include PreOp/PACU, Main OR, Cath Lab, Center for Advanced Surgery (CAS), Labor and Delivery, Endoscopy, and Interventional Radiology.
This position is eligible for a recruitment bonus. Additional details will be provided during the hiring process should your application be selected to move forward.
The starting pay for this position was recently adjusted. The minimum hourly rate for this position will now be $18.50/hour. All pay rates will be based on candidate’s experience.
