Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Campaign Planning Assessments Consultant at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. This individual will lead and synchronize assessment efforts for Combatant Command Campaign Plans (CCPs), Functional Campaign Plans (FCPs) and Global Campaign Plans (GCPs) and support Annual Joint Assessments (AJA) as directed by the USTRANSCOM Commander or higher headquarters.

Responsibilities

The assessment analyst position will provide expertise that will enable USTRANSCOM to enhance the Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE). The assessment analyst will perform analysis, review guidance, participate in assessment reviews/events, coordinate assessments for combatant command, functional and global campaign plans, and prepare a variety of client products.

  • Lead the collection of strategy, plans, and other mobility documents/information from internal and external sources, as identified by the government
  • Aggregate and analyze collected information to develop transportation, distribution and global mobility trend analysis
  • Coordinate with the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), and designated coordinating authorities on the assessment of five global campaign plans semi-annual and annul assessments
  • Lead monthly assessments of USTRANSCOM CCP and FCP objectives, effects, and tasks
  • Assist in developing assessment methodologies and metrics
  • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to the government
  • Coordinate analytical and technical writing products while developing assessment products
  • Coordinate with USTRANSCOM staff, components, and JDDE partners to collect and evaluate data
  • Prepare assessment products in support of monthly leadership briefings
  • Assist the government with Task Management Tood (TMT) taskings, point papers, executive summaries, and presentations
  • Provide trip reports / after action reports for assessment related visits, seminars, conferences, and in-progress reports as needed
  • Perform other assessment related duties required by the client

Qualifications

MINIMUM:

  • Master’s Degree with 11 years of experience or Bachelor's Degree with 13 years of experience in performing assessments, planning, and logistic operations
  • US Military transportation, distribution, and mobility experience
  • Knowledge of Campaign Planning
  • Ability to work well with a team and foster a cooperative environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • TS-SCI Security Clearance (Note: Selected applicants are subject to a government security investigation and LMI will only consider applicants with a minimum of an active SECRET clearance. Thereafter, must be able to attain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance).
  • Available for occasional domestic and/or international travel
  • Full Time / Regular employment

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Combatant Command level experience
  • Working knowledge and experience with Operations Research to include developing assessment methodologies, conducting assessments, utilizing analytical applications and data compilation, and performing analytical reviews of DoD projects.
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytic techniques
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
