Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position as Lecturer of Architecture in the Department of Architecture with a preferred start date of January 2025. This is a nine-month contracted position. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia. 

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in architecture courses at the undergraduate level including in Architecture Studio as well as at least one of the following areas of specialization:
  Structures
  • Design Communications & Documentation
  • Architectural History & Theory
  • Environmental Systems & Building Performance
  • Professional Practice
  • Participate in department, college, and/or university service activities.

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

A minimum of Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Architecture or a closely related discipline. 

Preferred Qualifications Include

• Professional Architectural Registration 
• Record of past teaching in Architecture Studio and an area of specialization
