Job Summary

The University of Kentucky College of Public Health is seeking a leader to build and sustain broad, mutually beneficial partnerships with community organizations, governmental agencies, and stakeholders to co-create and implement impactful public health solutions, to foster relationships that support problem identification and solution creation, and liaise with the University of Kentucky Office of Land Grant Engagement, Kentucky Public Health Education and Internship program, Kentucky Public Health Association, Kentucky Health Departments Association, Community Health Worker program, Kentucky State Lab, Area Health Education Centers, and among others.

The position will be expected to develop, implement, and evaluate land grant programs and projects that align with the strategic priorities of improving organization and engagement support and building a culture of engagement. They will also develop initiatives and collaborations at the local level with local and district health departments and their community extension offices. They will work closely with College leadership, faculty, staff, and students to create public health and extension opportunities and promote transdisciplinary approaches and solutions to address societal and community issues.
