Title: Instructional Technology Coordinator
Job Summary
Support students, faculty, and staff in online and virtual learning. Provide technical support and
training for the learning management system, accessibility software, classroom technologies,
and teleconferencing systems. Support and review course development projects to ensure
faculty are trained and adhere to current instructional design theories, technologies, and
accessibility standards.
Job Duties
• Provide virtual customer and technical support to faculty and students for all campus-related software.
• Provide technical and daily use support to faculty and students using Desire2Learn or any other campus-related software.
• Provide classroom technology training and consultation to faculty to create student-centered courses in D2L.
• Facilitate campus-related software as the senior system administrator for Desire2Learn, Nearpod, Zoom, TextHelp, Camtasia, Articulate 360, TurnItIn, and Respondus Lockdown Browser and Monitor, including maintaining all faculty accounts, course creations, cloning, cross-listing, and training for Distance courses.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate training and professional development workshops for faculty in the use of campus-related software including Desire2Learn, Nearpod, Zoom, TextHelp, Camtasia, Articulate 360, TurnItIn, and Respondus Lockdown Browser and Monitor, and Microsoft Office products.
• Maintain and monitor all scheduling for Distance Learning and Web Conferencing courses.
• Coordinate with the Office of Information Technology to report any hardware issues for all Distance Learning classrooms.
• Coordinate with Dual Enrollment High Schools using web-conferencing software for training and technical support.
• Coordinate with Director of Center for Teaching and Learning on faculty professional development opportunities.
• Review newly designed online courses for student navigation and provide feedback to the instructional designer.
• Assist faculty with creating and updating course material to meet TBR accessibility standards in all courses.
• Research upcoming classroom technology and new vendors including pricing, accessibility, and FERPA guidelines.
• Train faculty and staff on Mobile Device Policy, including specialized device training.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5 years’ experience working with multiple software programs
Preferred Qualifications
• 2-3 years higher education experience
• 3-5 years technical support experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Must have an extensive knowledge of application software. Knowledge should include, but is
not limited toDesire2Learn, Luminis, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Camtasia,
Respondus 4.0, Respondus Lockdown Browser and Monitor, Nearpod, TextHelp, Banner, and
Argos. Applicant should possess an extensive knowledge of the operation and use and technical
requirements ofPC computers and peripherals, including printers, types of drives and scanners.
• Ability to perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and
division.
• Reasoning ability required in decision making, project coordination, and performing various
tasks.
• Office administration, public relations, time management, organizational, and scheduling skills
required. Must be able to exercise ethics and maintain confidentiality.
Pay Rate: $47,031 - $58,788 (Annual salary depending on eligible experience which is defined by the current compensation plan.)
