SALARY INFORMATION: $55.00 Hourly / Pay Grade K  / Job Code T7001



Job Responsibilities

DUTIES: Under general supervision, performs advanced nursing functions and healthcare services in specialized areas. Operates under a written nurse protocol agreement with their delegating physician, conducts complete physicals, provides treatment, and counsels clients. May prescribe medication in some cases. Provide professional medical services in a community health environment. Under the direction and supervision of the Medical Director, the NP will provide comprehensive physicals, assessment, diagnosis and treatment.  Other duties in relation to this overarching objective are: Performs complete evaluations/assessments of individual clients in TB/Refugee programDocuments accurately, completely and timely in electronic medical recordProvides appropriate follow-up and linkage to care for TB/Refugee clients. Maintains knowledge of current practice standards and accreditation for the practice of medicineEnsures quality assurance standards of care are met in programmatic areasWorks and communicates with clients and partners to provide information and high-quality services. Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing workOperates effectively within the organizational structure and demonstrates responsible behavior. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate or Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and/or other education requirements approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing AND certification in the specialty area(s) approved by Georgia Board of Nursing AND Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse AND Georgia license as an APRN AND CPR certification.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience working in public health setting, TB/LTBI case management, Refugee services, and experience working with diverse population.
