Job Summary
The Senior Estimator will play a crucial role in our team, bringing extensive expertise in IT network infrastructure and data cabling. This position requires a deep understanding of various types of data cabling and adherence to network cabling standards. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the installation of network data cabling, including above-ceiling installations, and will be adept at designing and organizing communications closets.
Key responsibilities include:
- demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of IT network infrastructure, including the latest technologies and best practices
- expertise in different types of data cabling
- ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- installing network data cabling in various environments, particularly above ceilings
- effectively laying out communications closets
- interpreting architectural drawings, network designs, and wireless designs to ensure accurate project estimations and implementations
- providing exceptional customer service, addressing client needs and concerns with professionalism and efficiency
Additionally, the Senior Estimator will play an important role in defining project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
The Senior Estimator will also provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators, helping them develop their skills and ensuring the accuracy and quality of their work. They will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effectively conveying technical information to clients and team members.
