Client Service Associate - Private Wealth Advisors

Overview

The bank’s Private Wealth Advisors team provides comprehensive wealth management services including wealth strategy, investment management, trust and estate administration and concierge private banking. The successful candidate will partner with our Private Wealth team in Houston to deliver investment solutions.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through experience and/or formal training to provide pro-active support to Client Advisors
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for clients including researching and solving problems, initiating deposits and disbursements, and responding to other inquiries or needs
  • Opens new accounts including preparing and sending documents to clients, assists in client on boarding and account closure instruction process   
  • Processes and follows up on client documentation for proper maintenance of accounts
  • Support in preparation of client and prospect meeting materials.  Prepares letters, forms, and spreadsheets to assist with servicing existing clients and prospecting for new clients
  • Receives unsolicited orders from clients
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

 

  • Must have at least 2 years or more experience dealing with the financial services industry including securities, wealth management, banking and trust operations as well as a working knowledge with regulations, compliance and documentation
  • Requires Series 7 and one of the following: Series 63, 65 or 66
  • Knowledge of investment products, concepts, practices and procedures used in the securities industry
  • Highly articulate, proactive and self-motivated, possesses a sense of urgency, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills, both verbal and written, required
  • Must also be able to interface with top level management and clients, and handle confidential information with discretion. Use appropriate interpersonal styles and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels
  • Work independently and be able to make decisions
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
